I first came across the Ghanian born soul singer on Myspace about two years ago and loved what I heard. Not too long after I saw him on VH1's Soul Cities and was sure he was about to explode on to the soul music scene. Fast forward to the present and he's still relatively below the radar. Why? The Chicago resident has been taking his time to make sure his debut album will be exactly as he wishes. I respect him even more as an artist because of that. This quote from his Myspace page sums it up nicely: "100% juice to do what I do - no high fructose corn syrup...because I am 100% juice." This is the song that I first heard from him. If it's any indication of what he's capable of, his debut will be phenomenal.
