This long awaited project from SZA is not what I expected, but it is everything I wanted it to be. It's edgy, experimental, haunting and energetic. It's not as pop driven as her earlier works. Expect a more electro-soul feel on this one as she makes her mark with the backing of Top Dawg Entertainment. Features on the project include hot up-and-comer Chance the Rapper, Isaiah Rashad and label mate Kendrick Lamar. Some of my favorite tracks on the album are "Julie", "Sweet November" and "Child's Play". If you're digging this new R&B movement driven by artist like The Weeknd, Rochelle Jordan and Daley then you'll enjoy this album. SZA is here to stay. Check her out and support.
