While growing up on the Island of Dominica (British West Indies), singer-songwriter, Heston was exposed to a variety of music at an early age. Amongst his influences he lists Reggae singer Beres Hammond, Motown great Marvin Gaye and Al Green. We spent some time with him after a recent New York show and discussed his new album, his influences, the motivation behind his music and more.
